When the new semester coincides with the Lantern Festival, Yinhe Primary School provided students a unique back-to-school experience by combining immersive growth ceremonies with project-based deep learning. Blending tradition with modernity, activities such as lion dances, children’s choirs, street dances performed by robot dogs and champion cheerleading performances ignited the enthusiasm of the entire venue. Creative check-in boards and wish cards embodied the students’ expectations for the new year. A total of 127 upgraded nutritious and delicious breakfast options have won students’ great affection.

  Each class prepared warm welcome gifts for students, and each grade held a distinctive and thoughtfully designed opening ceremony. During “the First Class of the Semester”, teachers and students shared stories of their winter vacation and made new plans for the Year of the Horse. After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, Principal Tian encouraged the students to stay happy, be themselves and explore bravely. Blessings from their peers and vows from their hearts inspired the students to move forward.

  During the themed activity “A Promising Start, A Joyful Lantern Festival”, students showed their talents through riddle guessing and poetry contests. Intangible cultural heritage handicrafts let traditional culture shine at their fingertips, and fun sports filled the campus with joy. Voting and awards witnessed students’ growth and strengthened class unity.
