This Open Day for Grades 1 and 2, centered around the theme “Vitality Empowers Competencies, Childlike Innocence Lights Up the Future,” weaves together highlight segments: “Immersive Classroom Experience, Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Inheritance, Subject Practice Showcases, and Home-School Heart-to-Heart Dialogue.” This allows parents to deeply witness their children’s confident expression, independent exploration, and joyful growth on campus in half a day, co-creating a warm picture of home-school collaboration.

Every moment holds a delightful surprise of growth, and every scene captures the children’s shining moments.

Piano Music Welcomes Guests

Fingertips Strike Up the Prelude to Confidence

Morning light floods the campus. Little pianists sit upright at the piano, their backs straight as pines. Fingertips dance lightly on the keys, and harmonious melodies flow with the breeze. Bright eyes are filled with resolve, and calm smiles play on their lips.

Every note is brimming with youthful vitality, and their confident appearance fully displays the demeanor of young learners, opening the Open Day on a warm, confident note.

In the Grade 1 ICH labor class, every child in Yinhe transforms into a fingertip inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. With their tender, skillful hands and focused attitudes, they thread needles, sketch and create, presenting a cultural feast that is both refined and heartwarming.

Calm and determined — this is the true spirit of our Grade 1 Children in Yinhe, showing their solid skills in every gesture. Traditional crafts come to life at their fingertips, and each creation embodies their understanding and love for culture.

Children admire the ICH works, filled with the joy of creation. The smiles on their faces wrap traditional craftsmanship in childlike warmth. Their cheerful cries are full of childlike fun, with abundant harvests and continuous inheritance.

Parents stop to experience, witnessing their children’s growth and transformation in every detail, filled with relief and pride.

Rooted in courses and infused with the warmth of daily life, we engrave the marks of growth! In the Grade 2 ICH labor class, Children in Yinhe transform into inheritors of intangible cultural heritage on the tip of the tongue. With serious expressions and clever creativity, they knead, stir, steam and bake, blending traditional flavors with childlike ingenuity, brewing a fragrant and memorable ICH journey.

The Taste Bud ICH exhibition area is filled with aroma, and the little chefs  demonstrate their cooking skills in an orderly manner. From the operation process to the presentation of the finished products, solid accumulation is evident everywhere. The fresh fragrance of traditional food hides ingenuity and perseverance; in the fun of hands-on practice, one tastes the charm of traditional food.

With two stalls open simultaneously, making with preparation done inside and sales outside, the stalls are bustling with visitors, and the air is filled with the fragrant warmth of everyday life.

The display of ICH inheritance is not only a powerful showcase of skills and accumulation but also a vivid portrayal of traditional culture infiltrating growth.

The ingenuity of fingertips and the craftsmanship of taste buds make ICH culture no longer distant, and also allow parents to witness their children’s focus and growth in cultural inheritance.

Eight-Dimensional Empowerment for Infinite Creativity

When academic knowledge meets engaging practices, the campus specialty booths are creating quite a buzz! The eight subjects each showcase their unique charms, breaking the classroom boundaries through creative games. The Children in Yinhe are shining brightly in their exploration.

Creative utopias, romantic paintings of ancient poetry, code-breaking puzzles... all drawing admiration from audience.

Making learning fun fully displays the children’s energy and synergy, forming the most lively scene on site.

This themed exhibition allows knowledge to leap off the textbook pages and be put into practice. While having fun, the children consolidate their foundations and improve their well-rounded skills. From expressive ability and logical thinking to creativity and collaboration, mastering each skill is a solid step on the road to growth.

Presentation Practice Report

Exploring Nature and Enjoying Harvest of Discoveries

The achievements of presentation practical project-based learning are blooming! 16 Children in Yinhe transformed into “Little Study Tour Guides”, drawing on their project-based learning experiences, reproducing the exploration journey through situational role-play, and leading on-site parents and children on an immersive autumn learning journey.

Some young guides walked into nature to explore the discoveries of autumn, others went to other places to share the unique customs of different cities, still others took part in hands-on labor and shared the joy of the harvest. They vividly shared what they saw, heard and felt during the vacation activities.

The entire project-based learning presentation is full of engaging moments. It not only showcased the children’s growth and achievements through practice but also allowed the school leaders and parents present to feel the unique charm of autumn and the infinite joy of practice.

Gathering for Open Conversations

Home-School Partnership for a Common Future

From “listening” to “talking freely”: no physical distance of podium, no rigid agenda. Teachers and parents gather together, starting a heart-to-heart exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.

From “shared experiences” to “consensus”: Parents opened their hearts to share their thoughts and struggles on the parenting journey, while teachers offered thoughtful guidance to help navigate challenges together.

From “you and me” to “we”: Our goal is to realize home-school partnership, shifting from one-way communication to two-way understanding and shared commitment. Only with consistent goals and shared responsibilities can we gather the greatest strength for the children’s growth.

The bright red silk banners embody the deep bond of mutual trust and shared journey between families and the school.
